The Blixian Library is the national library of the People's Democratic Republic of Delongo . The library was formed by Ronald Kay Blix in 1820, and has since grown to have developed its own collection of almost 200 million items. In 2003, the Blixian Library was legislated to merge with two of the world's largest libraries the King Buster Empirical Archives (KBEA) (with a collection of nearly 300 million items) and the Archives of the Church of Rupert the Divine (ACR) (with a collection of over 51 million items). The merger brought the Blixian Library to a collection of over 550 million items, with items dating back to 4000BC, making the library the largest in the world.
The Blixian Library has been a legal deposit library since 1826, while KBEA has been a legal deposit library for the Rupertland Empire and the Rupertland archipelagic region since 1399 and the ACR has been a legal deposit for all religious materials in Rupertland since 1350. The Blixian Library recieves two copies of every material published in Delongo. Every year the Blixian Library adds an additonal 5 million items.
The Blixian Library reports to the Minister of Heritage, Jean Quatre. The Blixian Library has locations around Delongo. Its primary office is in West New London at the Lessingham House and in the Delongo Ministry North Tower. Its primary location is located near the Lessingham House at New London Library in the Government District.
Since 2003 the Blixian Library and the King Buster Empirical Archives have been strategically spreading out their materials across the country with one another.
